Word Play and the Invention of Images

While flipping through the dictionary and randomly studying words, I noticed that at the top of each page would be two words. These indicated the first word entry on that page and the last word entry. The two words had nothing to do with each other; they just indicated the range of words to be found in alphabetical order on that page. But what if the two words were put together to make a single compound word, what would that define? Take the two words: "Cinderella" and "circle" found at the top of a page. What would a "Cinderella Circle" be? To answer that, I would have to cross their respective definitions over or interplay their separate explanations. "Cinderella Circle" would be defined, for instance as: "A girl whose beauty or merit is a plane figure, bounded by a single curved line - each point of which is equidistant from the prince."

Here are a few other terms I discovered by joining random words together.

Mellomento Mori : A soft, tender, mature, and gentle understanding of death.

Be-bop Bed: A modification of a jazz thing for sleeping or resting on. A piece of furniture consisting of jazz, springs, mattress, much improvisation, lack of restraint, deviation from bedding, and often meaningless lyrics.

Fuzzy Feeling : The power or faculty of experiencing physical sensations of, like, or covered with light particles of hair or fibers.

Reciprocal Fulcrum: The support, or point of support, done, felt, or given in return, on which a lever turns in raising something or someone on both sides, each to the other.

Zephosfloressence ( this is more complicated,,,joining 'zephyr', 'phosphorous', 'florescent' , and 'essence'.) : A soft gentle breeze, blossoming, and then igniting at room temperature, or referring to anyone with such qualities.

Angel Angle: Pertaining to a messenger of the shape made by two straight lines meeting in a point: god. Or two plane surfaces, either good or bad meeting along a line to whom is attributed more than human power; the space between such guiding spirits, lines, or surfaces.

Spiral Spirit: The life principle circling continuously around; especially in man. A point or center originally regarded as an animating vapor, moving in curves that constantly increase as infused by the breath; coiling in constantly changing planes as the head of a screw. Hence, helical soul.

A number of these ideas ( such as reciprocal fulcrum, angel angle, and spiral spirit ) later became visualizations in the form of drawings or paintings. "Helical Soul" shown below, was derived from "Spiral Spirit".

In my dictonary, letter L, there's LIPEƄ (in Finnish) lye (Engl.)
and
LISTA (in F.) list (Engl.)

How would you explain those?
How about in both languages?!

Oooh, Blogitse...I would have no idea how to put them together in Finnish! In English, I guess a lye list would be " a series of names for a strong alkaline solution used in cleaning and making soap." But the word "list" can have differing meanings. It could be used as a verb...as when a boat lists...it tilts or leans to one side. If" the lye listed", I suppose that would mean the alkaline solution is tipping over...or about to spill, maybe...and that could have hazardous consequences since lye is quite caustic! haha......... : )
